The number of layers, which mean the number of Synthetic-tyre-cord layer, usually, our airbags contain 3,4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10 layers types. Other type is still available upon your request to confirm the Safety Working Pressure.
LUHANG Marine Rubber Airbag Structure
A. Outer Rubber Layer
The outer rubber layer that covers the outside of marine airbag to protect under layers from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tearing strength to withstand any condition and hard usage.
B. Inner Rubber Layer
The inner rubber layer seals pressurized air inside marine airbags.
C. Synthetic-Tire-Cord Layer as Reinforcement
The reinforcement cord layers, which are made of synthetic-tire-cord commonly used in tires, are arranged at ideal angles to hold the internal pressure and distribute stress evenly. So they can provide strong efficient reinforcement.

Imagine the shock when we encountered some customers came to us asking for a 15-layer airbag!
Most ships/structures can be handled with our 7-layer type airbags, or in some cases (sharp hull or challenging work conditions) maybe up 10 layers. But anything more than 10 is definitely not necessary. These overstatements cause industry-wide confusion, and buyers thought they are getting more with these cheap prices. However, we are convinced our LUHANG 7-layer type airbags would perform better than many of those “15-layer” airbags. In addition, we have highly qualified vulcanisation experts. When it comes to manufacturing these high pressure airbags, vulcanisation is a key process where over-vulcanisation or under-vulcanisation can bring very large performance differences!
